Where is my data stored?

Without an account, data is stored in the browser on the current device. If you sign in and cloud sync is available, data can sync to your account.

Do I need an account?

No. You can track subscriptions locally without signing in. Sign in when you want cloud sync, account settings, premium status, reminders that require hosted sync, or Developer API keys.

Does AI capture save my screenshot or pasted text?

No. The submitted text or screenshot is sent once to the configured model provider for extraction. Subscription Manager does not store or log that content.

Why do totals change when I switch currency?

The dashboard converts subscription amounts into the selected base currency. Exchange rates can change over time, so converted totals can change even when your original subscription amounts do not.

What does an offline or stale exchange rate message mean?

It means the app could not refresh live rates and is using cached or fallback rates. Original subscription amounts are unchanged.

Why did I not receive a reminder?

Check that Bark settings are saved, the device key is correct, the subscription has notifications enabled, and the next payment date is valid. Hosted reminders may also require being signed in.

How do I move data to another browser?

Use Export data on the old browser and Import data on the new browser.

Can I undo changes?

Manual edits can be changed again by editing the subscription. AI actions may show an immediate undo prompt after confirmation.
